Elink Media (the business) was an integral entity of Elink Media Limited, a public company incorporated in January 2000 founded by David Bunney. With a vertical structure of five interrelated business, Elink Media Limited planned to become Australia's first publicly listed full-service online and offline marketing, advertising and publishing agency.
Elink Media formed several strategic alliances benefitting from the explosive Internet growth of this time. However the timing of the proposed float on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) coincided with the "Dot Com Crash" which was unfortunate considering the pending 40% acquisition of West Australia's second largest advertising agency ensured this profitable venture.
A board decision was subsequently made to dissolve the company, sell its businesses and relinquish the public entity. Elink Media (the business) today is a culminated legacy of these operations that included; "Web Design", "Web Hosting", "Online Publishing", "Internet Marketing & Advertising".
